Air Liquide has finished the sale of Air Liquide Welding with its subsidiary specialized in the manufacture of welding and cutting technologies to Lincoln Electric France SAS which is the subsidiary of Lincoln Electric Holdings. The signed sale agreement was announced in April 2017 with Lincoln Electric: the leading player in design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, plasma and oxy fuel cutting equipment with related usual regulatory approvals including competition authorities’ approval. Air Liquide is focused on its gas and service activities following the acquisition of Airgas and also on the implementation of its company program NEOS for the 2016 – 2020 period.
