voestalpine Bohler Welding sponsors National Skill Competition for Best of the Best Welders 2020-21
Welders help to build everything, from cars to ships, aeroplanes to rockets, pipelines to highways. To recognise and reward welders for their efforts in building country’s infrastructure, voestalpine Bohler Welding joined hands with The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India) to support the ‘National Skill Competition for Best of the Best Welders 2020 – 21’.
The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW-India) is a 55-year old professional body. The institute is also a member of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) which is devoted to the cause of promotion and advancements of welding science and technology in India.
“We are delighted to support National skill Competition for Best of the Best welders organised by IIW-India. For us, it is not only important to recognise Best of the Best welders but also to improve the image of welding amongst the aspirant young people who would like to pursue welding as a career.” says Abby Joseph, Managing Director, voestalpine Bohler Welding India.
